Computer Resources Operated by the Healey Library
- Borrow a Laptop - With your library barcode the Library allows students, faculty, and staff to borrow laptops free of charge for up to four hours.
- Jazzman Cyber Cafe (2nd Floor) - Ten public workstations located just behind the Jazzman Cafe.
- Reference Floor (4th Floor) - Thirty-three public workstations on the fourth floor of the library with a focus on academic research. The Reference Desk provides support for any of your research needs.
- Curriculum Resource Center (5th Floor) - Six public workstations within the Curriculum Resource Center.

The library building is home to many resources provided by the UMass IT Department. Below is a list of some of their commonly used resources. All questions regarding these and other IT services shoudl be directed toward the IT Service Desk.

Computer Support
The IT Service Desk (formerly the Helpdesk) has moved from Quinn 1st floor to the 3rd floor of the Healey Library, as part of the new Healey Commons.
Hours of operation and contact information remain the same
An additional walk-up service desk is located on the 4th floor of the library, adjacent to the reference desk. This allows the library staff and IT technical team to work together in providing integrated services to UMB faculty, staff & students.
Micosoft Office Training is available by by appointment through an online form or by calling AK at 617-287-5990.

The Healey Library has many Internet access options for your convenience.
You can use a computer in one of the many computer labs, borrow a laptop, connect to the campus wireless network, print your work and more.
