Library Barcode
A Healey Library barcode is your access key to the library's rich assortment of resources.
Note: your Healey Library barcode is different from your UMB student ID/UMS number.
How do I get a library barcode?
- On-campus students, faculty, and staff should go to the Circulation Desk with their UMB I.D. card. A library staff member will place a unique barcode sticker on the reverse of their ID card.
- Online students or students taking classes off-campus, may telephone the Circulation Desk at 617-287-5900 to be assigned a barcode over the phone. They may also email library.circulation@umb.edu. Please be sure to include your first and last name, and your StudentID/UMS number so we can properly identify you in our system. A barcode number will be e-mailed to you asap. All online and off-campus classes will be verified by the circulation staff.
