EBSCO Databases
EBSCO Teacher/Librarian Success Tools contain resources for teachers, such as scavenger hunts, lesson plans and reading advisory tools to use with EBSCO databases. EBSCO, also provides detailed instructions and a range of tutorials on how to search its databases.
EBSCO Animals
Designed for students K-12, EBSCO Animals provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.
Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia
The Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia covers a wide array of subjects and includes brief biographies as well as images.
MAS Ultra – School Edition
This comprehensive database, designed specifically for high school libraries, contains full text for nearly 500 popular, high school magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full text is also available for 84,774 biographies and 100,554 primary source documents. Additionally, MAS Ultra – School Edition contains more than 350 reference books (including the Columbia Encyclopedia, the CIA World Fact Book and World Almanac & Book of Facts), an Image Collection of 235,186 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded full text backfiles (back to 1975) for key magazines.
Primary Search
Primary Search provides full text for more than 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990.

Opposing Viewpoints
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center covers both sides of the difficult "hot topic" issues of today. It includes a diverse array of resources including articles, primary documents, biographies of social activists and reformers, statistics, court case overviews, profiles of government and special interest groups, web-sites, and podcasts from the Weekly Presidential Radio Address.
Science Resource Center
Science Resource Center is designed for middle and high school students. Students can search by broad topic or search for a specific subject. Results are sorted by type of resource: reference books, magazines, academic journals, newspapers, multimedia resources, and “quality” websites. The databases includes scientific tools such as periodic tables, information on how to read a scientific article, and solar system planet data. Teachers will find the database useful also as it covers science topics included in school curriculum and has a tool that relates content to state and national standards.
