Scope and Content

The collection consists of sheet music for more than 4,000 American popular songs. Much of the collection is from the era of Tin Pan Alley. It contains many songs of popular composers and lyricists of the period, including Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harry von Tilzer, and others. Lists and indexes are available.
