Virtual Catalog is now "UMass Boston WorldCat"

For the Fall 09 semester, all requests for items not held by Healey Library will automatically be routed through Interlibrary Loan services as the Healey staff works with the Boston Library Consortium to install and test a new delivery system for BLC borrowing.
An easy way to locate and request items is to use the new UMass Boston WorldCat service. Search libraries worldwide using the global catalog at
If you find an item that is not held by Healey Library, you may request it by simply clicking the button that looks like this:

This will open up your Interlibrary Loan account.
If you do not have an Interlibrary Loan account, you will be guided in setting up your new account.

Healey Library provides you with research library service that scans local, regional, national and international collections to identify and obtain the books you need.
Our working collection, comprising the UMass and regional research libraries, equals the working collections at any great research university: at this time, about 10 million book titles.
This working collection is available through a single online interface, and the delivery time targeted is about one week.
