Media & Film Services

Healey Library provides access to the UMB media collection. This growing collection includes over 2,000 DVDs and videocassettes. Titles are selected primarily by faculty to support the courses and research of UMB students and faculty.

Borrowing

Faculty and staff may borrow for 5 days.  Students may borrow for 2 hours, and must view in the building. Films can be checked out at the Circulation Desk during regular library hours. See the Media & Film Policies for more information.

Reserving Films for Classroom Viewing

Faculty and staff may reserve films in advance for classroom viewing by using the Film Reservation Form.  The film reservation system is designed for faculty members who want to be assured of getting a film to show in class on a particular date in the future. There is no need to use the form for more immediate requests - simply check our catalog, and if the film is listed as available, feel free to come to the circulation desk and borrow.
