ARCHIVES & SPECIAL COLLECTIONS ~ 5th floor   Official University publications like annual UMB catalogs; student publications like yearbooks and the Mass Media; and the papers of organizations, institutions, and individuals that illuminate the history of this region are kept in Archives. Copies of master’s degree theses and doctoral dissertations by UMB students are also housed here. The Library's Special Collection includes books that are too old, too fragile, or too valuable to be left on open shelves.
