In an Emergency

If you feel that a person's safety (including yours) is in danger, please dial 911 from any campus telephone. 

To report an emergency using a cellphone, call 617-287-1212.

When reporting an emergency, be prepared to provide the following information:

• Type and severity of emergency
• Specific location, including building, room, or other directions.
• When the incident occurred
• Other critical details
• Your name and telephone number

Call from a safe location, if possible. Remain calm. Speak slowly and clearly. Do not hang up until the dispatcher ends the call.
