Our new, one-stop faculty liaison page links UMB faculty with support staff in IT, the Library and Career Services. Click below to identify and contact your designated liaisons for assistance with, among other things, Blackboard Learning Systems, setting up blogs and wikis, reserve readings and films for your classes, uploading your lectures to iTunes U, library research instruction workshops, collaborating securely with Xythos, and the RefWorks bibliographic software.

The CLI, located in room 015 on the 4th floor of Healey Library, is used primarily by Healey’s reference-instruction librarians to conduct library and research related instructional sessions customized to subject content of any UMB course. Sessions make extensive use of interactive/hands-on teaching and learning methods, multimedia, and electronic source materials.

about Library Instruction ProgramTo obtain a barcode sticker, visit the Circulation Department on the 2nd floor of the library or call 617-287-5900.
Once you have a barcode sticker on the back of your ID, you can access numerous subscription-only resources through Healey Library.
about Off-Campus Access: Frequently Asked QuestionsAll current UMB Faculty and Staff are eligible to request a proxy card to allow a graduate assistant (or any other designated individual) to check out books for that Faculty or Staff member.
about Proxy CardThe Reserves Department handles all reserve requests, both print and electronic. We place books and films on print reserve; we place articles and book chapters on electronic reserve. We are located in room 029 on the 4th floor of Healey Library
