Student Mentoring Success

Two MBA students (as first and third authors) and Professor Benyamin Lichtenstein co-authored a paper on containing health costs.  It was published in 2009 and highlights the mentoring of grad students.

Christina J. Wurster and Tasha Hageboom were in a project group in the core MBA management course, MGT 650.  After writing a brilliant group paper, Christina did an independent study with Professor Lichtenstein.  The reviewers asked them to run a follow-up study.  Christina presented the study to the International Academy of Management Conference.  The UMass Boston Community can read the article here. about Student Mentoring Success
